Skosh ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our talent intelligence platform.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information — your email address and name, provided via OAuth (Google, LinkedIn) or direct sign-up.
  • Search queries and sourcing activity — the role descriptions and filter criteria you submit.
  • Candidate data — publicly available data aggregated from open source platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Stack Overflow, etc.).
  • Usage data and analytics — page views, feature interactions, and performance metrics collected via Sentry and standard server logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the Skosh talent intelligence platform and generate search results.
  • To generate AI-powered candidate summaries via Anthropic Claude.
  • To send outreach emails on your behalf via Gmail when you have connected your Google account.
  • To improve our search relevance, scoring algorithms, and overall product experience.

3. Data Sources

  • We aggregate publicly available data from GitHub, GitLab, Stack Overflow, HuggingFace, Kaggle, npm, crates.io, and Apache.
  • We do not scrape private repositories, private issues, or any non-public profile information.
  • All candidate data displayed on Skosh is derived from information the individual has chosen to make public on these platforms.

4. Gmail Integration

  • When you connect Gmail, we store OAuth access tokens securely in our database to send emails on your behalf.
  • We only request the gmail.send OAuth scope — we cannot and do not read your inbox.
  • We never read, index, or store your existing emails or email history.
  • You can disconnect Gmail at any time from the Settings → Integrations page. Disconnecting immediately revokes our access.

5. Data Retention

  • Search history and candidate data are retained for up to 12 months from your last active session.
  • You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Skosh:

  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting (servers in EU/US).
  • Vercel — application hosting and edge functions.
  • Anthropic — AI model (Claude) for candidate summary generation. Queries are not used to train Anthropic models.
  • Sentry — error tracking and performance monitoring. Stack traces may include anonymised request metadata.
