Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Skosh platform operated by Skosh Intelligence Inc. ("Skosh", "we", "us"). By accessing or using Skosh, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Skosh service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Description of Service

• Skosh is a talent intelligence platform that helps recruiters and engineering hiring managers discover technical talent.
• We aggregate publicly available data from open source platforms including GitHub, GitLab, Stack Overflow, HuggingFace, Kaggle, npm, crates.io, and Apache.
• We provide AI-generated candidate summaries, scoring, email outreach drafting, and Gmail send integration.
• Service features and availability may change. We will notify you of material changes with reasonable advance notice.

3. Acceptable Use

• You must not use Skosh to send spam, unsolicited bulk emails, or any communications that violate applicable law.
• When sending outreach to candidates, you must comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and all other applicable email marketing and data protection regulations in your jurisdiction.
• You must not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary algorithms, models, or data from the platform.
• You must not use the platform to harass, discriminate against, or unlawfully target individuals based on protected characteristics.
• You must not resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Skosh platform to third parties without our written consent.

4. Data and Privacy

Your use of Skosh is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Skosh, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

• The Skosh platform, including its scoring algorithms, AI models, UI design, and proprietary search technology, is owned by Skosh Intelligence Inc. and protected by copyright and trade secret law.
• Candidate data sourced from open source platforms remains subject to the original platform's terms of service (GitHub Terms, Stack Overflow's TOS, etc.). Skosh does not claim ownership of that data.
• Content you input (search queries, notes, outreach drafts) remains yours. You grant Skosh a limited licence to process it to provide the service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Skosh and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to Skosh in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access to Skosh at any time, with or without notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms.
• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of Skosh after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
